We really enjoyed last Friday evening's production of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", and I would like you to pass on my congratulations to both Sharon Saggs and James French (Co-Directors) for this panto appealed to all ages.

The cast had been well-chosen.  Congratulations to Clare Woolley (Prince Edwin) on taking a big role at pretty short notice.  She and Lisa Charnley (Goldilocks) sang well together.  I like the three bears and thought Natalie Stafford (Simple Simon) and Laura Adams (Marigold) did very well in their respective parts.  James Baggaley (Dick Dastardly) was a good choice as the baddie and Dean Murray made a good job of his part as Igor.  The musical numbers suited the plot and a good lead was given by the musicians:  Jacqueline and Frank Wesson and Fay Dorey.  The choreography by Meena Womersley was lively and well rehearsed.  I was very impressed with the dancing; there were some interesting routines and they had clearly rehearsed the moves well.

On the whole the lighting was good; the set was strongly made and the attractive costumes were a real credit to the Wardrobe Department.  Well done, everyone.
