Me And My Girl

A Lambeth costermonger, who unexpectedly inherits an Earl's fortune, must as a condition marry somebody approved by his newfound stuffy relatives.

They organise a reception for him to meet some "appropriate" partners, but events take an unexpected turn when his long-established girlfriend Sally arrives - in full cockney attire - together with a team of Pearly Kings and Queens performing the Lambeth Walk.

Chaos and comedy naturally follow the rest of the show, which also features other well known songs including The Sun Has Got His Hat On, Leaning on a Lamppost and, of course, Me And My Girl.

Performed 24th - 28th May 2011 at the South Holland Centre
